We strongly believe in giving back to others and the community around us whether it is offering discounted rates to the elderly for general garden maintenance packages to our strong involvement with the scouts. Euan, who is currently an assistant scout master (is this right?) for the local Perth troupe is also involved with the Scouts on an international level and recently attended the scout gathering in Sweden (need right name for this)

Along with helping to plan and run camps and activities he shares his passion for gardening and his social values with his cadets (not sure what the right word is here). He also encourages them to learn the transferable skills associated with gardening such as spacial awareness, projecting planning and time management, skills which are beneficial throughout life from school to work and even your social life (just think how much planning you need to put into a group night out to the cinema and food! Or the time planning needed to ensure your girlfriend/partner/friend who doesn't seem to understand the concept of time when it comes to getting ready actually arrives at the same time as everyone else!)
